Pros: Clean comfortable rooms with nice amenities. Very good complimentary breakfast. Excellent biscuits, waffles, sausages, and delicious berries. They even have fresh milk for your coffee. For an extra $25 you can get late check out at 2pm. Cons: Overall the breakfast was truly great, except for the scrambled eggs. They seemed like they were made from powdered eggs. I thought the late check out was a good idea, until the front desk called to tell us it was time for us to leave. We explained that we had paid for late check out. They realized the mistake and apologized. No big deal. 30 minutes later, a maid knocked on the door wondering why we were still there. If I stayed here again, I would remind the front desk staff that I had late check out, AND put a sign on the door for the maid in English and Spanish. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to return.

It was a good clean hotel with decent location. The breakfast is a bit of disappointment as they don't have much and it's not very well managed either. The staff is pretty quiet - they do not take any initiative but if you ask them, they will help. I stayed there on 2 different nights and had two different rooms - one was definitely nicer than the other so it needs to be considered in case you are not happy with what you got. It's right next door to a big hotel with direct access to it .. as well as has a cute little gazebo in the back. It's only 10 minutes or so away from Blue Ridge Park in case you want to go there.

Joe, who works the front desk in the evenings was absolutely amazing!! He answered any questions we had and when we had simple issues with our shower head, he went above and beyond to get it fixed and make sure we were pleased with it. Lhea, who works the front desk in the mornings, was also very helpful in getting us settled. Each employee we encountered was so friendly and we couldn’t ask for better customer service!! Thank you, all, for making our stay pleasant! We will be back!!

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend while visiting Asheville. Hotel was clean and quiet! Our room was nice and also clean. No issues at all and value was great. Location is PERFECT to downtown Asheville. It's not walking distance, but finding cheap parking downtown was a breeze. Would stay here again when we come back to Asheville!!

The staff was great but the experience overall was not good. We chose this location due to the proximity to an event venue and ability to get a room with a jacuzzi tub to celebrate our anniversary. From the time we got into the room we noticed most features were not working. Hair dryer mainly and no hot water in the jacuzzi tub which we were so excited for. We left for our event and figured we'd try the tub when we got back. Still no luck but it was late and figured we'd try again in the morning as we had paid extra for a late checkout. By the next morning the hot water still wasn't working so we let the front desk know and they sent maintenance. Maintenance said someone had turned off the hot water heater/boiler and he had turned it back on and to wait 10 minutes. We did and finally got some hot water! Tub was almost a third of the way filled when the hot water stopped again. At this point we were just extremely frustrated and disappointed and took a lukewarm bath essentially. The upgrade for the jacuzzi tub was an additional $40+ and the late checkout was $25. At that price we could've spent two nights in a different, just as nice room with amenities that actually function correctly. UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars to reflect the prompt, professional and kind response from the manager, Hazel. She not only refunded us the fee for the late checkout but was even kind enough to send us an Amazon gift card as an apology for the issues during our stay. What an absolute breath of fresh air dealing with someone who takes service and guest happiness seriously. We would absolutely give them another chance because of this. Best Western, you're very fortunate to have such a wonderful general manager who clearly takes pride in her job and training her staff to execute the same level customer service. Very impressed.

AMAZING STAY! ROOM WAS IMMACULATE, front desk, SUPER WELCOMING and the hot breakfast!!!! Great breakfast attendant as well! Housekeeping very sweet. My new favorite stay in Asheville. The only minor complaint is people outside of rooms smoking cigarettes. The smell travels into the room and they were dropping the butts on the ground in front of the doors. Smell would travel into room. Amazing value!

We booked a last minute 3 day trip just 24 hours in advance because the entire region was booked. We usually stay at higher star rated places but pleasantly surprised by everything from the nice management and staff, very clean rooms, free breakfast, daily clean, easy access to room from the car, and even some cameras were located around the property. They are even dog friendly!! We would absolutely recommend as it was better than the star rating and better than the price. Thank you!
